Introduction of Library

Right from its establishment in 2002, our library has become the "heart of the campus". Pune District Education Association's Law college library is the most lively place in the college that enables learning & advancement of knowledge. It had been methodically developed the collection of books and journals right from inception. It is rich in collections which consist of Text books, Reference books, Journals, Legal Magazines, General books, etc.

The Library operations are automated using ERP Library and Information Management Software. The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) enables library users to search the book database by Title, Author and Publication etc. Library conducts extension services like book exhibition, orientation programs for new users.

The Library had a collection of 7573 reference books and text books. In addition to its collection of projects, theses, reports etc. are available in the library. It also subscribed 08 daily newspapers of state and national level in Marathi, English, and Hindi.

Library is administered by the Librarian. Library Advisory Committee ensures proper administration of the library.

Refund of Library deposit

The students who avail the book lending facility must deposit the prescribed amount while taking admission as a library deposit which is refundable as per the university rules. A bona fide student of the college is entitled to claim the refund of the deposit after he/she ceases to be a student. Original library deposit receipt along with the prescribed application form with a xerox of TC or LC should be submitted. After the refund of the library deposit, identity card and library card will be cancelled. If the claim of refund is not made in one year, the deposit will stand forfeited. At the time of claim of the refund, the student is required to return all reading materials borrowed from the library in good condition.
