Pune District Education Association (PDEA), the parent organization of the college was established on 7th September 1941, as a charitable with a motto of 'Bahujan Hitay, Bahujan Sukhay' meaning, 'Welfare and Happiness for the masses' - the principle PDEA works on.
Great social reformer Late Shri Baburaoji Golap was the founder member of PDEA. Under his able leadership, PDEA was able to open 350 primary school in short period of time. These schools were started all over Pune district of Maharashtra in area where there were no existing schools within the reach.
PDEA runs 55 high schools, 23 Vocational schools, 31 Junior, 8 Senior college and 10 Professional colleges...
Presently PDEA runs 55 high schools, 23 Vocational schools, 31 Junior, 8 Senior college and 10 Professional colleges of different branches like Ayurveda, Management, Pharmacy, Engineering, Polytechnic, computer science, Education, Law etc.
The PDEA has been awarded Rajyagourav Puraskar by Govt. of Maharashtra for commendable work in the field of education and social service.
The organization aims to achieve higher heights under the visionary leadership of Hon. Shri Ajitdada Pawar, President of PDEA and Former Deputy Chief Minister,Govt. of Maharashtra.
Approx. 100000 students are taking education in various institutes of PDEA
